IMEON ENERGY’s ESS range secures, via its Back-Up function, the power supply to the equipped site during power cuts in the public electricity distribution network. The back-up function is available as an option on the 60 kW model and as standard on the 3 to 27 kW models.
In smart-grid mode, two battery usage thresholds can be set: the first threshold when the grid is present and the second threshold when the grid is interrupted. This principle allows the user to ensure that there is a reserve of energy available in the battery bank when the public grid is unable to supply the building. In Back-Up mode, the battery bank is kept fully charged at all times by solar electricity and the public grid. ESS solutions only allow the batteries to be discharged when the public grid is switched off. This mode is particularly suitable for sensitive applications that require a constant supply of electricity.
