This application is foreseen for supervision of various events occurring in a solar installation governed by Imeon solar hybrid inverter.

TIMELINE EVENTS Application Interface

Integrated into the IMEON OS. ONE operating system, the “TimeLine Events” is an innovative application developed by IMEON ENERGY and accessible free of charge to owners of an Imeon hybrid inverter.

To assist the installers and to provide detailed feedback about the performance of the solar installation managed by Imeon, we have created a transparent and interactive log of events registered by the inverter. The Timeline application is accessible locally, through IMEON OS. ONE operating system’s interface as well as remotely, via IMEON ONLINE monitoring platform. The events registered by the unit and displayed by the Timeline Events can be viewed as a table, where the events can be conveniently grouped by a category or type or as a chronological record through which you can scroll to consult the status of the installation, since the first initialisation of the inverter.

The application has been among the first software features published by IMEON ENERGY’s developers for the OS. ONE environment and has proven itself to be a valuable and appreciated diagnostic tool and source of information. The fact that the timeline as well as detailed performance statistics can be viewed by the installer of the system remotely, allows the installers to limit the unnecessary visits on the site, which helps to cut costs, save time and increase the profitability of their businesses.

Weather Coupling

This IMEON application allows the inverter to make a production forecast of the solar installation for the next 24 hours.

Integrated with the IMEON OS. ONE, the “Weather Coupling ” application is a real innovation accessible to users who have a web-connected IMEON hybrid inverter.

This application not only uses weather data converted into potential production but also adjusts this data to the actual production of the solar installation at the production site. The most accurate weather sensor is the solar panel, which is precisely located at the production site and reflects the exact weather at time “T”!

By correlating the weather forecast and the instantaneous production of the photovoltaic installation, the IMEON hybrid inverter performs a production forecast of the solar installation for the next 24 hours.

This data is important as it allows the user to schedule the operation of certain appliances such as the washing machine, dishwasher or tumble dryer according to the predicted production. It becomes very simple to create your own solar off-peak time based on the system’s production forecast.

Even better! The data calculated in this application is used to operate additional applications, such as “Smart-Load”, which, by crossing this data with that of the “Forecast consumption” application and artificial intelligence algorithms, will plan the start-up of various electrical appliances with the aim of making maximum use of the production generated by the photovoltaic installation and improving the rate of autonomy of the equipped site.

Setup Wizard

This application assists the installer during the initial configuration of the inverter

Setup Wizard Interface Application

Integrated into the IMEON OS. ONE operating system, the “Setup Wizard” is an innovative application developed by IMEON ENERGY and accessible free of charge to owners of an Imeon hybrid inverter.

This application guides the installer through each configuration step necessary to successfully commission an Imeon smart hybrid inverter, whether the installer is using a tablet, laptop or smartphone, via Ethernet or WiFi, to complete this stage of the commissioning.

Before the wizard application was available, the configuration of Imeon hybrid inverter was carried out via the interface of IMEON OS. ONE. To configure the operational parameters of the inverter, the installer had to switch between different tabs such as “flow management”, “battery” and “network management”, before going to the “Wifi” page in order to connect the inverter to Internet.

“Setup Wizard” has greatly simplified and streamlined the process of setting up and commissioning an installation and, above all, limited the risk of forgetting any inputs. The application will be launched automatically during the first local connection to the Imeon inverter and will guide the installer in each step of the configuration to make sure nothing has been omitted. On top of that, the Wizard will automatically carry out certain tests, such as the measurement of solar string voltage, before authorizing the passage onto a next step. To sum up, this new application brings three main advantages to installers:

Saving time, because it is no longer necessary for the installer to search in the different tabs of the OS. ONE interface,
Elimination of the risk of omitting something, since each necessary setting is included in the “Setup Wizard” application,
Elimination of the risk of errors, thanks to the various automatic verifications carried out by the application.

CO2 SAVING

The “CO2 Saving” application gives the user an estimate of the CO2 emissions avoided thanks to his own solar system.

IMEON ENERGY’s teams have developed this application in order to make users aware of the benefits of producing electricity using solar energy. The quantity of CO2 emissions avoided is calculated by the application and displayed in the IMEON ONLINE monitoring interface so that the user can access it whenever he wants.

MONEY SAVING

The “Money Saving” application gives the user an estimate of the savings he has made on his electricity bills thanks to his self-consumption solar installation.

IMEON ENERGY’s teams have developed this application to inform users of the savings they have made by investing in a photovoltaic electricity production installation for self-production. The savings generated are calculated by the application and displayed in the IMEON ONLINE monitoring interface so that the user can access them whenever he wants.
